Individuals who elect to clean their own concrete floors should also keep in mind that those areas that receive higher amounts of traffic won't clean and shine up with just a couple of passes of the mop. It won't take too long but high-traffic areas require a bit more cleaning than do those that receive less traffic.

It's important for owners of polished concrete to remember that while their concrete requires far less maintenance than unpolished concrete, some work is needed if they wish to keep it looking good for years and even decades to come.
